Change Management Practitioner Virtual

Change Management is associated with the effects and management of change; this is primarily within organisations where change can have a greater impact. This qualification is based on the theory and application of change. Once you have passed the Foundation qualification you can progress to the more advanced Practitioner qualification.

During this virtual course, students will look at:

  • Levers to help embed change and ensure its sustainability.
  • Strategies to manage learning and development in support of change.
  • A framework for coaching colleagues, including listening and feedback techniques.
  • Core insights into handling conflict during periods of change.
  • Approaches to facilitate collaborative design of change.

 

This 2-day virtual course is designed to help organizations and their people manage the impact of change and provide techniques to effectively plan and implement successful transformation initiatives.

This course explores how change affects, and is affected by, individuals, teams, organizations and change leaders, equipping individuals with the knowledge, theories and techniques to:

  • Unlock resistance to change
  • Provide effective support and motivation to individuals and teams to embrace change
  • Draw from a range of professional approaches to implement change smoothly and effectively
  • Manage and inform key stakeholders throughout the change process
  • Speed up the implementation of change initiatives.

Virtual Courses:

Virtual training is provided via Microsoft Teams. Virtual training requires delegates to have access to a stable internet connection throughout the course and a headset with a microphone to communicate with the instructor.

Examination details:

The Change Management Practitioner exam has been updated, and the new versions were released in March 2024. The revised exam format is:

    • Objective testing based on a case study scenario
    • 5 sections of 16 marks each
    • 40 marks required to pass (out of 80 available) – 50%
    • 2.5 hours duration
    • Restricted open book – The APMG Change Management Study Guide.

The Change Management Foundation certificate by APMG International is a pre-requisite.
