Lean IT Leadership Virtual
The Lean IT Leadership training course builds on the basic knowledge acquired through the Lean IT Foundation. Lean IT Leadership focuses on ensuring that people fulfilling a leadership role within a Lean IT organization know what they need to do to help to develop it to a Lean IT organisation. The role may be carried out in a formal or informal capacity. People following the Lean IT Leadership curriculum can benefit substantially from first understanding the Lean IT Kaizen role. One of the core tasks of Lean IT Leadership is driving and teaching continuous improvement, and the tools for this task are discussed in detail in the Lean IT Kaizen.
This 3-day virtual course teaches the approach of lean leadership, focused on inspiring, enabling and empowering the organization to continuously improve through the behaviour of personal accountability and a view of value creation that includes all stakeholders in a value stream.
The online course provides you with knowledge of how and why Lean Leadership is different than traditional hierarchical or command and control models. It focuses on the Lean principles such as “Gemba” (Go To Where The Work Happens) and “Jidoka” (Empowerment of the team member to “Stop The Line”) to address quality issues as soon as they are discovered. Lean Leadership principles are critical to enabling an agile team which deals quickly and effectively with service and process improvement opportunities.
