Are you effectively performing the Business Relationship Management Role?

The BRM role with a set of competencies (knowledge, skills, and behaviours) is a crucial link between a service provider and the business. A BRM is responsible for connecting the provider organisation with its business partners, once connected they then orchestrate key roles, resources, and capabilities to help stimulate, surface, shape, and harvest business value. From there they navigate both the business partner and the provider along a path to realised business value.

After saying this are you/your organisation effectively performing the Business Relationship Management role? Whether yes or no we recommend attending the BRMP® Certification. It is aimed at aspiring to intermediate-level Business Relationship Managers, Project Managers, Business Analysts, Architects, External Service Providers and Representatives of Shared Service Organisations. There are countless benefits but to name a few:

  • Understanding the characteristics of the BRM role.
  • Know what it means to perform as a strategic partner, contributing to business strategy formulation and shaping business demand for the provider’s services.
  • Recognise how Portfolio Management disciplines and techniques are used to maximise realised business value.
  • Understand Business Transition Management and the conditions for successful change programs that minimise “value leakage”.
  • Understand the BRM role in Service Management and how to align services and service levels with business needs.
  • Know how to communicate effectively and persuasively.

The Business Relationship Management Professional (BRMP®) training is a world-class professional development program, and designed to provide a solid foundation-level knowledge of Business Relationship Management.
