NEW – ITIL Practitioner Certification
It’s been a while since we’ve had a significant portfolio development to talk about in the world of ITIL training, but that is all set to change with the upcoming launch of the ITIL Practitioner Certification in February 2016.
NEW – ITIL Practitioner Certification
The ITIL Practitioner course will equip ITSM professionals with the skills to successfully adopt and adapt ITIL to improve service management capabilities in line with business goals. Suitable for professionals who have already learned the basics of ITSM and understand the business value of well-designed and delivered services.
A supporting publication, “ITIL Practitioner Guidance”, will cover the skills and practical application of knowledge and will be available early 2016, with the first exams being sat in February. The ITIL Practitioner does not replace any of the existing ITIL qualifications.
Why ITIL Practitioner?
Where ITIL Foundation focuses on the ‘what’ and the ‘why’, ITIL Practitioner shows ‘how’ to start adopting and adapting the ITIL framework within day-to-day situations and responsibilities, giving individuals more confidence in their ability to structure and contribute to ITSM initiatives. The ITIL Practitioner course comprises key skills, techniques and helpful worksheets and templates to help practitioners start adopting and adapting ITIL within the organisation.
Who is it suitable for?
As the course will be complementary to the existing ITIL scheme it is suitable for anyone needing more practical implementation advice at any level in the IT organisation or within IT Service Management. It is a pre-requisite that you hold the current ITIL Foundation certificate.
