If your organisation says it’s advancing with its digital strategy & you’re not extra busy, then they’re probably not!

Tell-tale signs of digital transformation taking the positive first steps are when you & your colleagues are invited by the Senior Leadership team & HR to discuss culture shifts & new ways of working as they talk you through transition, explaining the vision, strategy & plans for success. New skills will be required across the organisation too, to increase overall capabilities, so they should talk about their commitment to invest in training & highlight the potential for disruption. If Senior Leadership support isn’t visible, it doesn’t bode well for success.

Everyone across the organisation should be buzzing about the transition, because it affects everyone in the organisation, customers, supporting partners & vendors. It really is that big a deal!

Only when the current operating model and ways of working are fully understood, can your organisation begin to design its digital target operating model & factor in the technologies that all other companies are currently buzzing about, such as cloud, artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), robotic process automation (RPA), big data, analytics and Internet of things (IoT) etc.!

It needs everyone to be pulling in the same direction, capable people & leadership to ensure success.
