The qualifications in the ITIL 4 Managing Professional steam include: ITIL 4 Specialist modules Create, Deliver, and Support (CDS), Drive Stakeholder Value (DSV), High-Velocity IT (HIT) and the Strategist module Direct, Plan, and Improve (DPI).
This module covers the ‘core’ service management activities and expands the current scope of ITIL to cover the ‘creation’ of services. Focusing on the integration of different value streams and activities to create, deliver and support IT-enabled products and services whilst also covering supporting practices, methods and tools.
Within this module, you will look at all types of engagement and interaction between a service provider and their customers, users, suppliers and partners. It focuses on the conversion of demand into value via IT-enabled services.
In this module, you will explore the ways in which digital organisations and digital operating models function in high-velocity environments. As such, the course is aimed at helping aspiring organisations, to operate in a similar way to successful digitally-native organisations.
During this module, individuals will learn the practical skills necessary to create a ‘learning and improving’ IT organisation. Within the module, the influence and impact of Agile and Lean ways of working, and how they can be leveraged to an organisation’s advantage will be covered.
These four certifications must be completed for you to achieve the Managing Professional designation. If you have already got 17 ITIL V3 credits you can easily upgrade to ITIL 4 Managing Professional by taking the V3 Transition Course.
